Dave Hinshaw, alias "Indian Dave" serves as Secretary for Graybeards Productions, Inc.
Dave 2007 Monark Pass, CO.
At the first Fox Valley Motorcycle Show in 2006, he served as Head Judge and is still in charge of the judging team. Each of our judges has expertise in different areas, so we have found that by judging as a team, we are able to judge each entry to the hightest point level standing of that motorcycle.

A few photos of some of Dave's bikes.

Dave's judging experience began in 1991 with the Antique Motorcycle Club of America where he worked with other judges on Indian Motorcycles. His knowledge of correct parts for models and years has helped him determine the authenticity of restored Indian Motorcycles. Since then he has also learned to judge other makes of motorcyles. Dave is still a Field Judge on Indians from the forties for the club.

Dave's passion for motorcycles started at a very young age. At 14 he got his first Cushman motor scooter, and the last couple of years he has displayed a 1958 Cushman Highlander at the shows just like the one he had in 1960. Not only does he enjoy riding almost any kind of motorcycle, he also has many hours of work on some of his own restorations. After 48 years of riding and 38 motorcycles and scooters later he still enjoys his hobby as he did in the beginning.

As a member of the Masons and the Shriners Dave and the late Bob Daugherty, who many of you may remember, formed The Beja Shrine Temple "Escort Patrol", a unit that performs in parades on Harley Davidson Ultra Glides. Dave is very happy that the Fox Valley Motorcycle Show Board members have chosen the Shrine Hospitals as their charity. If any of you would like to know more about the Shriners, or know a child that could use the care of the Shrine Hospitals, please contact Dave at 920-203-1832 or
