They tell me people would like
to know more about the 4 old timers
that make up the Gray Beards,
so here's my story.
I started my biking hobby at age 8 on a Honda Super 90.
I convinced my dad it would be ideal to bring
the cattle up for milking on the family farm.
From that day on I've been interested in anything
that had a motor. I had several bikes before
my 14th birthday when I bought my first Harley
a basket case '63 trike for $100.00).
From there I started building and
restoring bikes and cars - never
selling as many as I bought - which is
probably why I now have over 90 bikes.
A few photos of some of my bikes.

I have been an officer in
numerous motorcycle organizations
and clubs over the years, worked at
the local bike shop at age 15,
and owner/operator of an
excavating company ever since.
In my leisure time I enjoy traveling
with my family, wife Vicki, daughter
Kristen and son Doug Jr., and
of course hanging out with my buddies.
Another enjoyment of mine has always
been the outdoors especially the
hunting and fishing trips with my
son, whether it was in the Ozarks for
spring trout, or in the area of trophy
whitetail, turkey or bear, we always
have a great time.

My biggest passion is helping children,
and it makes me feel great to know that the
money we generate will always go
directly to the kids that need it the most.
